Inspired by one of New Zealand's best known birds, the native fantail (or pīwakawaka) in flight and the nz koru fern frond.   

the metal artwork measures a striking 1.05 metres tall by 30cm wide and is designed to be pushed into the ground or a large plant pot.  15cm is hidden in the ground.
